The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the recruitment exam for Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The examination consists of two written papers: Paper-I and Paper-II, both conducted in Computer-Based Mode.

Paper-I tests candidates on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. It evaluates their analytical skills, general knowledge, numerical abilities, and command of English.

Paper-II focuses solely on English Language & Comprehension, assessing the candidate’s proficiency in English through questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and comprehension.

Candidates qualifying Paper-I are required to undergo a Physical Endurance Test (PET) and a Medical Examination. Only those who pass the PET and are medically fit will be eligible to appear for Paper-II.
